AutoTex Pink Goes Where No Wiper Has Gone Before
AutoTex Pink, a division of WEXCO industries, launches first ever pink colored windshield wiper to ‘Wipe Out Breast Cancer’
September 7, 2011- Just in time for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, AutoTex Pink, the brand determined to “Wipe Out Breast Cancer”, announced the launch of their newest line- AutoTex PINK PLUS. Not unlike AutoTex Pink’s other lines, the maximum amount allowable from each purchase of the high quality blades will support both the National Breast Cancer Foundation in the United States and the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. However, unlike the black color of its predecessors, AutoTex PINK PLUS is an actual pink colored blade.
But why a pink blade, and why now? “Since the inception of our brand in 2009, people have assumed our blades were pink in color because of the name, even though they were actually black” says Paula Lombard, founder of AutoTex Pink. “We got such an overwhelming request for a pink colored blade we decided to give it a try and promote extra support for this October.”
