Driver’s Edge Teams Up With AutoTex Pink to “Wipe Out Breast Cancer”
Texas Auto Repair Locations Go Over and Beyond With Efforts to National Breast Cancer Foundation
October 2011- Driver’s Edge, Texas’ premier auto repair chain, has announced its new efforts to “Wipe Out Breast Cancer”. Beginning this October in the midst of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all Driver’s Edge locations will begin carrying AutoTex Pink Wiper blades. AutoTex Pink blades are premium, OEM quality blades that fit over 98% of current applications. These quality windshield wiper blades come in a traditional black metal frame with a small pink ribbon to denote the cause. A portion of the proceeds from each sale is donated by AutoTex Pink to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
On top of AutoTex Pink’s donation, Driver’s Edge has announced that they, too, will donate 10% of each sale to the NBCF doubling the good deed. “We are very excited to be a part of something so great,” says Mike Daniel, owner of Driver’s Edge. “It is not every day that we are given a chance to make such a difference in the automotive industry. Everyone needs windshield wipers and breast cancer affects so many- so why not stock a product that is going to end up making a difference in someone’s life?”
